The core design of our product is a detachable Head and Tail. The Head consists of a locking (quick release) mechanism operated by slide, that quickly accepts a Tail shaft and locks it securely in place. This allows for the rapid, and secure modification of your lure, while the Head is still securely attached to the fishing line.

The outer body of the Head is constructed of aircraft quality Aluminum Alloy or 300 Series Stainless Steel. All inner components are made of Stainless Steel. Our use of high quality materials, careful attention to detail and advanced manufacturing techniques make Lock & Troll™ lures highly resistant to the effects of a harsh marine environment.

There are three unique Head designs (Patent Pending) in the Lock & Troll™ lure System:

Characteristic long narrow nose and cutouts, hole is placed off-center to add more “action” to the lure. Lure has tendency to stay close to the surface and breaking occasionally to the top. Concentric thru hole and symmetrical concave front end surface. Lure will track straight and stay near the surface. Small narrow nose with centrally located hole. Small dual conave cutouts contribute to moderate action, will track straight.
